FAQ 1: What can I do on TutorBird?
  • Lesson Notes: Read reports written by your child’s tutor after every session.
  • Attendance: Track your student’s attendance and view upcoming scheduled lessons on the calendar.
  • Shared Files: Download PDFs, assignments, and photos of student work.
FAQ 2: Is there a TutorBird App?

While there isn’t an app in the App Store, you can add a ‘web app’ shortcut to your phone in seconds! This gives you one-tap access just like a regular app.

On iPhone: Open the portal in Safari, tap the ‘Share’ icon (the square with an arrow), and select ‘Add to Home Screen.’ On Android: Open the portal in Chrome, tap the three dots in the corner, and select ‘Add to Home Screen.

FAQ 3: What should I do if I need to cancel or reschedule?

Life happens! If you need to cancel a session, please email your specific center directly. To receive a lesson credit, we must be notified at least 5 hours prior to the scheduled session. This policy ensures we can manage our tutors’ schedules effectively.

Note: Cancellations made via the TutorBird portal or with less than 5 hours’ notice are not eligible for lesson credit.

FAQ 4: Where can I find the notes from my child’s last lesson?

Once logged in, click on the ‘Attendance’ or ‘Lesson Notes’ tab. Your tutor will typically upload notes and any student work photos within 24 hours of your session. You should also receive an automated email as soon as a new note is published!

FAQ 5: I forgot my password—how do I reset it?

Simply click the ‘Login’ button above. On the TutorBird sign-in page, select ‘Forgot Password?’ and enter your email address. You’ll receive a reset link within a few minutes. If you’re still having trouble, email us at info@elevateedu.com and we’ll manually reset it for you.

FAQ 6: Can I sync my child’s schedule to my personal calendar?

Yes! Inside the portal, go to the ‘Calendar’ tab and look for the ‘Set up Sync’ or ‘Calendar Export’ button. This will automatically add all upcoming tutoring sessions to your Google, Apple, or Outlook calendar so you never miss a session.
